Lanai Cathedrals

Here a diver is swimming through a cavern passage in the Cathedral.
The caverns are called the cathedrals because the clear water and bright light makes them look like stained glass windows.

An overhead shot of the cathedral.  There is a lot of turbulence inside the cavern and decent photos are near impossible.

This is a flock of  Racoon Butterflies.   They were swarming and dining on the eggs of a Saddle Wrasse (I think).

Here you can see the Saddle Wrasse overwhelmed by the masked bandits.  The divemaster later informed me that the female lays a large quantity of eggs, perhaps over different days, so it might not be as tragic as it seems.
